Khôr 'Angar ( Arabic خور أنغار, also: Angârou , Anghar , Poste d'Anghor ) is a place in the north of the Obock region of Djibouti . It is located on the west coast of the Bab al-Mandab Strait . The Herkale Airport , a strip of land in the desert, is located 7 km northwest of the city.

Khôr 'Angar is located on the coast of Bab al-Mandab and in the northeast of the Republic of Djibouti, 298 km (road distance) from Djibouti City . The towns of Moulhoule (27 km), Obock (59 km) and Rahayta (48 km) are in the vicinity . To the southeast of the town lies the Gabammaso mangrove swamp on the coast, which stretches along the coast for several kilometers with the 'Angârou lagoon and the Hâwa Dola river . The river finally flows into the sea at the Wada lagoon , northeast of the city. Near the city is the Foḏonka'to spring and the Wadi 'Ounḏa Dola comes from the west of the ügelâle hills. The RN 15 is the main artery along the coast.
