Khadijatou "Khaddi" Victoria Sagnia (born April 20, 1994 in Helsingborg ) is a Swedish long jumper and triple jumper .

Athletic career

At the beginning of her career, Khaddi Sagnia mainly focused on the triple jump and in 2010 won the gold medal at the first ever Youth Olympic Games in Singapore . In 2011 she took part in the World Youth Championships in Lille , where she reached eleventh place in the long jump and ninth place in the triple jump.

In 2015 she took part in the European Indoor Championships in Prague , where she was eliminated in qualification. In contrast, she just barely missed a medal in fourth at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn . At the World Championships in Beijing , she finished seventh in the final . Sagnia took 14th place at the 2016 World Indoor Championships and also took part in the 2016 European Championships in Amsterdam , where she took sixth place with 6.59 m. At the Olympic Games, however, a disappointing end in qualification followed . In 2017 she qualified again for the World Championships in London , but dropped out there with 6.42 m in the qualification .
