Khaled Melliti (born May 22, 1984 in Tunis ) is a Tunisian football player . He is the brother of Sofiène Melliti , who is also a professional footballer.

Career

Khaled Melliti comes from the youth of the Tunisian club Étoile Sportive du Sahel , where he played in the first team from 2003 to 2008. In Sahel he won the Tunisian Championship 2006/07, the CAF Champions League 2005 and the CAF Confederation Cup 2006 . He also took part in the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup with Étoile du Sahel and played 58 minutes in the third-place match against Urawa Red Diamonds . In the summer of 2008, he signed a three-year contract with Club Africain Tunis , in exchange Ahmed Akeichi moved to Étoile Sportive du Sahel. On July 4, 2011 Melliti moved to the French Ligue 2 FC Istres on a free transfer . After two seasons, Melliti moved back to his home country for Club Athlétique Bizertin .
