Khuất Phương Anh (born December 11, 1997 ) is a Vietnamese athlete who competes in the middle-distance run .

Athletic career

Khuất Phương Anh gained her first international experience in 2016 when she won the silver medal in the 400-meter hurdles at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City in 59.78 seconds and also competed in the Vietnamese 4-times-400 -Meter relay secured the silver medal in 3: 44.56 min. The following year she took part in the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur for the first time , where she won the silver medal in the 800-meter run behind her compatriot Vũ Thị Ly in 2: 09.05 min . In 2019 she was eliminated at the Asian Championships in Dohaover 800 meters with 2: 11.08 min in the lead and reached 13th place over 1500 meters in 4: 30.89 min. In December she won the silver medal over 800 meters again at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 2: 08.24 min , this time behind her compatriot Bích Đinh Thị and in the 1500 meter run she secured the bronze medal in 4: 23.47 minutes behind her compatriot Nguyễn Thị Oanh and Agustina Mardika Manik from Indonesia.

In 2019, Khuất became Vietnamese champion in the 800-meter run and the 4-by-400-meter relay.
