Khyenrab Norbu ( T. mkhyen rab nor bu ; * 1883 in Zêtang ; † October 28, 1962 ) was a Tibetan physician and astronomer . He was the personal physician of the 13th Dalai Lama , Thubten Gyatsho (1876–1933), and teacher of Tendzin Chödrag , who later became the personal physician of the 14th Dalai Lama .

He was the director of the Mentsi Khang School of Medicine and Astrology (Tib. Sman rtsis khang ) in Lhasa , a center for theoretical and practical medicine founded in 1916 by the 13th Dalai Lama.

He is the author of various works on traditional Tibetan medicine .
