Kiatprawut Saiwaeo ( Thai : เกียรติ ประ วุฒิ สาย แวว , born January 24, 1986 in Ubon Ratchathani ) is a Thai former football player on the position of a defender . He plays for Chonburi FC in the Thai Premier League .

Career

Kiatprawut began his career in the youth team of Chonburi FC in 2004, and in 2005 he switched to the senior team. With them he became champions of the Thailand Provincial League in 2005 and rose to the Premier League. At the end of 2007 he moved to Manchester City together with Suree Sukha and Teerasil Dangda . In July 2007, the former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra bought the association. However, all three players could not prevail and were loaned to other clubs. There were also problems with the visa in England. Kiatprawut was therefore "parked" at Club Bruges from 2008 onwards before he was finally back at FC Chonburi. A protracted injury prevented him from playing for Chonburi FC in the 2008 season.

Kiatprawut has been part of the senior national team since 2007 . Previously, he had already worked for the country's U-21s and U-23s . With her he won the gold medal at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games . Also in 2009 belongs to the squad and is captain of the team. In 2007 he took part in the 2007 Asian Football Championship with the seniors . However, he was not used.
