Jessie Cave

Jessica "Jessie" Cave (born May 5, 1987 in London ) is a British actress . She was best known for her role as Lavender Brown in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince .

Life

Jessie Cave is the second oldest of five siblings. Her youngest sister, Bebe, is also an actress. Together they played in the film The fairy tale of fairy tales . Her father works as a general practitioner. She studied illustration and animation at Kingston University in London and English and literature at the University of Manchester . Her grandfather is the former Chief Secretary of Hong Kong, Sir Charles Philip Haddon-Cave .

In the film adaptation of Cornelia Funke's novel Inkheart , Cave played a mermaid. In June 2009 she appeared as Thomasina in the revival of Tom Stoppard's play Arcadia at the Duke of York's Theater in London's West End . Cave was selected from over 7,000 girls who would play the role of Lavender Brown in the film adaptation of the novel Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince . The film was released in German cinemas on July 16, 2009.

In 2014 she became the mother of a son and in 2016 a daughter.
