The Kijik River is a river in Lake Clark National Park in southwest Alaska .
The Kijik River is fed by a smaller glacier in the Neacola Mountains at an altitude of 1000 m . It flows in a south-westerly direction through the mountains. It flows through the Lachbuna Lake . For the last 10 km the river turns south-southeast and after 66 km it flows into Lake Clark . The catchment area covers 772 km². The 30 km long section of the river below Lachbuna Lake offers white water of difficulty level V for kayakers and rafters .
The Kijik River forms a spawning of sockeye salmon ( Oncorhynchus nerka ).
