Kim Jacinthe Poirier (born February 6, 1980 in Drummondville , Québec ) is a Canadian actress , singer and television presenter .

Life

Born in Drummondville, Poirier grew up in Toronto from the age of two .

She played the role of Roxy Hunter in all seasons of the Canadian soap opera Paradise Falls . This was followed by roles in movies such as Mutiny Under Water - USS Lansing Doesn't Answer (2001) and American Psycho II: The Horror Goes On (2002). In 2003 she made a guest appearance on the television series Largo Winch - Dangerous Legacy . In 2004, she appeared alongside Sarah Polley , Ving Rhames and Mekhi Phifer in Zack Snyder's horror remake Dawn of the Dead . In the same year she played the role of Constance in the science fiction film Death Date . She also took over this in the sequel Death Date 2 from 2007.

From 2005 to 2008 Poirier hosted the Canadian television program HypaSpace . In 2009 Poirier sang in the band Jacqui Judge & Rouge . In 2011 she starred in the film Silent But Deadly alongside Jason Mewes and William Sadler .
