Kim Sae-ron (* 31 July 2000 in Seoul ) is a South Korean actress . She became known as a child actress through her debut film A Whole New Life (2009) and her role in The Man from Nowhere (2010). For the latter, she received the Korean Film Award for Best Young Actress . The action thriller was inspired by the French film Léon - The Professional (1994), which is very popular in South Korea. Through the film, the actress enjoys a “dark” public image.
Her two younger sisters, Kim Ah-ron and Kim Ye-ron, are also actresses.
In 2014, she played a young girl in the film A Girl at My Door who is beaten by her classmates and her father. But when the new policewoman (played by Bae Doona ) comes into town, it is protected. Kim Sae-ron received very positive reviews for her performance and received the Blue Dragon Award for Best Young Actress .
