Kim Young-Ja (born October 19, 1983 in Jeollabuk-do ) is a former South Korean biathlete .

Kim Young-Ja made her international debut at the beginning of the 2000/01 season in Hochfilzen , where she was 95th of an individual. The highlight of the first season was participation in the 2001 World Biathlon Championships in Pokljuka . Kim finished 82nd in the individual and achieved her best international result with 77th place in the sprint. In 2002 , an 80th place in a sprint in Osrblie was the best result in a pure World Cup race . The South Korean ran her last career race at the Biathlon World Championships 2005 in Hochfilzen and came 94th in the individual and 92nd in the sprint.
