Kimberley Crossman

Kimberley Crossman (born May 24, 1990 in Auckland , New Zealand ) is a New Zealand actress and presenter .

Life

Crossman grew up in Auckland . Her parents divorced when she was two years old. Crossman started dancing at the age of three, supported by her mother, who ran a dance school. She started acting at the age of seven and took acting lessons in her teens. She later participated in the Aspiring Young Actors program. Crossman auditioned for the first time in school year 13, including for the role of Sophie McKay in the series Shortland Street , which she finally received and played until 2012. She already acted as a presenter while filming Shortland Street. She worked as a reporter for the children's show The Erin Simpson Show and reported for Nickelodeon New Zealand from the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2010 . After leaving Shortland Street, Crossman moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and has been commuting between the United States and her native New Zealand ever since .

In 2014 she returned to New Zealand for a longer stay because she participated in the reality TV format Cadbury Dream Factory as a "helper". She played a starring role in 2015 Deathgasm and engaged for the campaign 40 Hour Famine of World Vision New Zealand . Since 2016 she has played the role of Nikki Hart in the web series Hashtaggers .
