Kinga Lohr

Kinga Lohr (born September 11, 1969 in Târgu Mureș ) is a German table tennis player from Romania . She is German champion in doubles.

youth

In her youth Lohr performed internationally for Romania. In 1984 and 1987 she became European Youth Champion in doubles together with Otilia Bădescu . In 1987 she also won the title with the Romanian team. In 1985 she reached the semi-finals.

Adults

Lohr won the Romanian doubles championship in 1988 with Otilia Bădescu. When she applied to leave the country in 1988, she was no longer considered in the Romanian national team. In 1990 she moved to Germany and joined the Reinickendorfer Füchsen . In mid-1991 she received German citizenship. In the same year she moved to Spvg Steinhagen . With its women's team, she was instantly German champion in the 1991/92 season. This title was defended over the next two years. The team also won the European Cup in 1992/93 .

With the acquisition of the German citizenship Lohr was allowed to start for the National German Championships . After two runner-up championships in doubles, 1992 with Olga Nemes and 1993 with Cornelia Faltermaier , he won the title in doubles with Olga Nemes in 1995. In 1993 she reached the semi-finals in mixed with Viktor Vetturelli.

When Steinhagen dissolved his professional teams in 1994, Lohr left the club and joined the Kiel TTK . After their marriage in the mid-1990s, she performed under the name Kinga Miklos . In 1996 she moved to TTFC Burgwedel . In 1997/98 she played for SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen , with whose women's team she reached the final in the ETTU Cup .

She later returned to TTFC Burgwedel and the Kiel TTK.

Private

Lohr is a beautician by profession. In the mid-1990s she married Zoltan Miklos, who played with Hannover Flyers in the second basketball league.
