The Kingdom Holding Company ( Arabic شركة المملكة القابضة, DMG šarikat al-mamlaka al-qābiḍa ) is an investment company in Saudi Arabia . Its managing director is the billionaire Prince al-Walid ibn Talal , who also holds 94% of the company's shares. Kingdom Holding is involved in numerous companies worldwide and is listed in the Tadawul All-Share Index . Its headquarters in the Saudi capital Riyadh is located in the Kingdom Center . Hanadi Zakaria al-Hindi , the first female Saudi flight pilot, is employed by the holding company. In terms of sales, Kingdom Holding is the largest company in Saudi Arabia behind Aramco and SABIC .

In 2006, Prince Walid started the IPO of 30% of Kingdom Holding with an issue volume of six billion dollars . Only 6% of the shares are public, the remaining 94% is held by the Prince.

In December 2011, the Kingdom Holding Company acquired a stake of almost 4 percent in the social network Twitter for 300 million US dollars .
