Kingston Technology Co. is an American manufacturer of memory products, headquartered in Fountain Valley ( California ). According to his own statement, he is the world's largest manufacturer of memory modules and memory cards .

history

Kingston was founded in 1987 by John Tu and David Sun when they developed SIMM modules. In 1988 Kingston Technology received the patent for SIMM modules.
