Grüttow Church
The Grüttow Church is a 19th century church building in the Grüttow district of the municipality of Stolpe an der Peene in Western Pomerania .
The hall church with a polygonal choir was built from field stone in 1882, architectural details such as the building edges and the stepped walls of the windows and portals are made of brick . In the tympanum of the west portal there is a circular screen. The wooden windows of the nave date from 1894 and are divided into two lanes.
The choir has a ribbed vault , the nave has a flat roof. The uniform, ornamentally painted furnishings from the construction period include a block altar , a pulpit with a polygonal pulpit, the baptism, and pastor, patronage and community chairs with openwork tracery in the cheeks.
The small brick roof turret on the gable carries the only bell in the church.
The Protestant parish has been part of the Pasewalk Propstei in the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany since 2012 . Before that she belonged to the Greifswald parish of the Pomeranian Evangelical Church .
