Lebbin Church

The Lebbin Church is a church building in the Lebbin district in the Groß Teetzleben community in the Mecklenburg Lake District . The parish of Groß Teetzleben is part of the Demmin provost in the Pomeranian parish of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany and is administered by the parish in Altentreptow .

The rectangular plastered building dates from the beginning of the 19th century. It replaced a half-timbered church, first mentioned in 1571, which had to be demolished due to dilapidation. The square, boarded-up west tower is older than today's church. It was built in the 18th century. The weather vane with the number 1999 indicates the year the church was restored.

The interior of the church is designed as a wooden barrel .

The altarpiece from 1694 shows a crucifixion group from the first half of the 16th century in the middle field. The pulpit has a sound cover and was built in the early 17th century. Its stand is dated 1681. Church stalls and west gallery were built in in the 18th century.

The bell was cast by Benedictus Hein in 1592.
