Meiersberg Church

The Meiersberg Church is a church building in Meiersberg in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It belongs to the parish of Ferdinandshof in the Pasewalk provost of the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany .

The church was built in 1827 by farmers and workers from Meiersberg and neighboring Schlabrendorf. In 1956 a winter church was separated from the church hall. The previously free-standing altar was moved to the east wall.

The church was built from field stone on a rectangular floor plan. It carries a western boarded roof tower . Windows, door, corners of the building and the eaves are framed with cleaning flasks. There are three slender windows in each of the long sides and two in the gables. There is a semicircular window in each of the roof gables.

The equipment comes from the construction period. The organ was built in 1888 by Emil Kaltschmidt from Stettin -Grünhof. It was renovated in 1999.

The ringing consists of two iron bells cast in 1829.
