Kirchstockach is a district of the municipality of Brunnthal in the Upper Bavarian district of Munich . The church village is about one and a half kilometers north of Brunnthal.

history

Kirchstockach, originally Stockach, was first mentioned in the records of the Tegernsee monastery in the 11th century , where between 1008 and 1017 the noble Ratport donated his inheritance in Stockach with all accessories to the monastery. A church is mentioned in Stockach from 1315.
