Kirchweyhe is a district of the Lower Saxony Hanseatic city of Uelzen . Kirchweyhe is four kilometers north of the Uelzen city center on federal highway 4 , which leads from Braunschweig via Uelzen to Lüneburg .
history
The evangelical Georgskirche in the village is a small classical hall building made of brick . It was built between 1835 and 1837 according to plans by FAL Hellner.
On July 1, 1972, Kirchweyhe was incorporated into the district town of Uelzen.
