The Kiridasi Misaki ( transcription from Japanese 切 出 し 岬 'knife cape' ) is a headland on the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is one of the two headlands that extend west from Shinnan Rocks .
Japanese scientists mapped them using aerial photographs taken in 1962 and measurements made in 1972. The descriptive naming took place in 1977.
