Kirill Posdnjakow ( Russian Кирилл Поздняков ; born January 20, 1989 in Unetscha ) is a Russian cyclist who has been riding with an Azerbaijani license since January 1, 2017 .

Kirill Posdnjakow won the 2007 junior competition of Omloop Het Nieuwsblad . In the 2013 season he rode for the Azerbaijani Continental Team Synergy Baku Cycling Project . There he won a stage at the Tour de Taiwan , at An Post Rás , at Jelajah Malaysia and at the Tour of China I, where he was also first in the overall standings. In the overall ranking of the UCI Asia Tour 2013 , he finished eighth.

In 2014 and 2014 he drove for the Russian Professional Continental Team RusVelo and in his first year was the most important result in the Tour of Qinghai Lake , a stage race hors categorie .

Posdnyakov then returned to the Synergy BakuCycling Project and in 2016 won a stage of the Sibiu Cycling Tour as well as the overall standings and two stages of the Tour of Szeklerland . In 2017 he first won two stages of the Tour du Maroc , the general classification, mountain classification and one stage of the Tour d'Azerbaïdjan and became Azerbaijani road racing champion . However, he was tested positive for the doping agent during the Tour of Morocco and was banned for eight months until December 6, 2017, so that these successes coincided with the doping ban.

After his suspension expired, Posdnyakov won the Alanya GP in 2018 , a stage of the Tour of Mersin and a stage and the points classification of the Five Rings of Moscow .
