The cherry blossom cycle path "B12" is an approximately 40-kilometer circular cycle path in Burgenland . It leads at the foot of the Leitha Mountains and along Lake Neusiedl from Purbach via the villages of Winden , Jois , Breitenbrunn am Neusiedler See and Donnerskirchen back to Purbach.

The route leads through hilly vineyards and orchards and affords a view over the lake to the Hungarian lowlands .

In Jois and Donnerskirchen, the driver has the opportunity to switch to the Neusiedler See cycle path .

The name cherry blossom cycle path alludes to the large number of white to pink blossoming trees that characterize the path during the cherry blossom season (from mid-April to May).
