The Kitzmörder is a mountain on the Kaunergrat , a mountain range in the Ötztal Alps . The Kitzmörder is there with 2435 m above sea level. A. one of the lower mountains on this ridge.
geography
The Kitzmörder is the summit of a side ridge of the Kaunergrat, which starts from the Aherkogel and extends northeast. The Brechsee lies to the northwest of the summit .
tourism
There are no marked hiking trails on the Kitzmörder. Walter Klier's Alpine Club guide describes the ascent to the Kitzmörder as "pathless" and "easy" and recommends starting from the Brechsee bypassing the ridge of the mountain to the south and then reaching the summit via the southern slopes.
