Kjell Schneider (born October 4, 1976 in Kiel ) is a former national beach volleyball player .

Career

Kjell Schneider started as an indoor volleyball player in 1983 at FT Adler Kiel and switched to beach volleyball in 1991 . From 2002 he successfully formed the national team Brink / Schneider with Julius Brink . Top 10 placements were the order of the day at the tournament series of the Grand Slam, the FIVB World, CEV and German smart Beach Tour . However, Kjell Schneider recorded the greatest successes as the German runner-up in 2004 in Timmendorfer Strand , winning the FIVB World Tour tournament in Espinho and winning the bronze medal at the 2005 World Cup in Berlin . After the German championship in 2005 he stopped playing with Brink. The following year he played with David Klemperer and came third in the German championships . In 2007 he teamed up with Florian Huth until he ended his beach volleyball career in 2008. In 2006 he was awarded the Schleswig-Holstein sports badge.

Having studied business administration, Kjell Schneider has been working for a sports event agency since 2009.
