The steam locomotive series StEG II 860-921 formed a tank locomotive series of the Staats-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (StEG), a private Austrian-Hungarian railway company .
The 62 machines were supplied by the StEG locomotive factory from 1881 to 1892. It had an internal frame and external control and was initially referred to as Category IVm , and from 1897 as Row 32 . The StEG 3228 (kkStB 166.28) had a slightly different boiler than the rest of the machines in this series (see table).
When the Hungarian lines of the StEG were nationalized in 1891, 22 pieces came as TIIIb 3221–3242 to MÁV (later MÁV TIIIb 3921–3942, MÁV TIIIb 3977–3998), which they assigned to the 350 series from 1911. After the nationalization of the Austrian routes in 1909, the kkStB classified 40 copies as series 166 .
After the First World War, 23 copies remained with the BBÖ , which they retired by 1932. The CSD got 16 pieces, which they called series 334.5 einreihte. The last machine was not taken out of service by the ČSD until 1961.
