The Gmina Frysztak is a rural community in the Powiat Strzyżowski of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the village of the same name with about 950 inhabitants.
The municipality is located ten kilometers northwest of Krosno . Frysztak had city rights from 1267 to 1932. From 1772 to 1914 it belonged to the Jasło County , Frysztak Tax District in the Galicia Province .
