The kkStB 2.001 was a steam powered rail car of the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB), which was procured on behalf of the Laun – Libochowitz local railway .
history
The kkStB 2.001 was built in 1902 by the Ringhoffer wagon factory in Prague- Michow. The boiler and steam engine were supplied by the Esslingen machine factory . He was used on the local railway Laun-Libochowitz (Louny-Libochovice), on which the kkStB led the operation. The operator was not satisfied with the vehicle because the performance was too low and there were frequent pipe breaks.
After the First World War , the vehicle came into the inventory of the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD), which designated it as M 113.001 and had it converted into a normal passenger car as early as 1926 .
Technical characteristics
The boiler was of the Serpollet type .
