The steam locomotive series KFNB Ib was an express train - steam locomotive series of the Austrian Kaiser Ferdinands-Nordbahn (KFNB).

The locomotive factory of Bethel Henry Strousberg in Hanover delivered in 1871 four pieces of two-cylinder - wet steam -Lokomotiven with the axle formula  1A1 to the KFNB. The machines had the names ANTILOPE II , ORCAN II , GAZELLE II , and FULTON II , at first only numbers, were designated from 1869 as series IVa and from 1881 as series Ib .

1873 produced locomotive factory Floridsdorf four pieces of two-cylinder - wet steam -Lokomotiven with the axle formula  1A1 for KFNB that something as Strousberg machines were the stronger. They had the names VULKAN III , APIS II , MINOS II , and GLAUCOS II , at first only numbers and were also designated from 1869 as series IVa and from 1881 as series Ib . The locomotives had outer frames, Hall cranks and shelters with side windows.

After the Great Depression in 1873, the machines were used in passenger train service. But they weren't suitable for that. Therefore, the Floridsdorf machines were converted into locomotives with the axle formula 1B in 1883 and then referred to as series IIb 2 . The Strousberg machines were not rebuilt and retired between 1898 and 1902.

The "MINOS II" came to the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB), where it formed the series 307 . It was retired in 1913.
