The kkStB 84 was a tank locomotive series of the kkStB , whose locomotives originally came from the Austrian Local Railway Company (ÖLEG) on the one hand and the Moravian-Silesian Central Railway (MSCB) on the other .

These four small tank locomotives were delivered by Krauss in Munich to the Austrian Local Railway Company (ÖLEG) in 1883. They had internal frames and external controls. At the ÖLEG they were given numbers 301–304.

After the ÖLEG was nationalized in 1894, they were given the numbers 84.01-04 at the kkStB , but were sold in 1899.

These double-coupled locomotives were delivered in 1884 by the Floridsdorf locomotive factory . They had internal frames and external controls.

After the nationalization of the MSCB in 1895, they were referred to as 84.41–43 at the kkStB. The 84.42 was retired in 1901, the remaining two machines in 1904.
