Klaas Engelken

Klaas Engelken (born January 3, 1939 in Hanover ; † August 6, 2017 in Stuttgart ) was a German administrative lawyer and specialist book author.

Life

Klaas Engelken grew up in Bremen. He studied law and received his doctorate . He then started his civil service career as an administrative lawyer . He was a ministerial advisor and deputy state returning officer .

He wrote four legal books and took part in a constitutional commentary. He wrote studies on the headscarf judgment and the principle of connectivity .

From 2005 to 2016, Klaas Engelken was a member of the board of directors of the support group of the Stuttgart hymn choir boys. He is the father of the lawyer and specialist book author Eva Engelken .
