Klaus-Dieter Mücksch

Klaus-Dieter Mücksch (March 4, 1935 - April 15, 2006 in Wittenberg ) was a German church musician .

Mücksch studied church music in Halle (Saale) and in 1959 became a lecturer at the preacher's seminary in Wittenberg . Since 1971 he has been cantor at the city church in Wittenberg. In 1977 he was appointed regional church music director, which he held until 1998.

In addition to his work as a cantor, Klaus-Dieter Mücksch also taught community singing, choir conducting and organ at the Evangelical College for Church Music in Halle .
