Klaus-Dieter Mauer (born November 15, 1954 in Braunschweig ) is a German evangelical pastor and evangelist of the Liebenzeller Mission.

Life

After graduating from high school, Mauer studied from 1973 to 1978 at the theological seminar of the Liebenzeller Mission . After the ordination he worked as a community pastor in the Stuttgart district of the Liebenzeller community association until 1983 . Between 1982 and 2010 he worked as a travel evangelist in Berlin, Basel, Flensburg and Salzburg. During this time he was head of the tent mission of the Liebenzeller Mission for 18 years and head of Liebenzeller Mission International Germany (LMI-D) for three years . He completed his master's degree in missiology from Columbia International University in Columbia (South Carolina). At the Institute for Supervision and Practical Development of the German Society for Coaching in Bielefeld, he completed his training as a “master coach”.

For many years, up to 2013, Mauer was chairman of the Southwest German youth association “Decided for Christ” and is a member of the advisory board of the Volz Foundation Bergfriede in Engersch in the Rhone Valley (canton Valais / Switzerland). In 2012 he was speaker at the German evangelist conference in the Bible conference facility Langensteinbach height in Carlsbad Langensteinbach, he was one of the Vertrauensrat many years until 2012. Mauer is a popular speaker and speaker at church services , camps and other Christian events.

From 2011 to 2016, Mauer headed the study and living community (SLG) at the Liebenzell International University . Since July 2016 he has been working again in the evangelism service of the Liebenzeller Mission. During the pandemic in April 2020, he alternatively held an evangelistic "drive-in cinema" in Pforzheim . He has been a volunteer evangelist since August 2020.

Klaus-Dieter Mauer is married to Ulrike. The couple has four children and lives in Remchingen .
