Klaus-Dieter von der Weiden (partly only Klaus von der Weiden ; * 1962 in Bad Kreuznach ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Administrative Court and the Thuringian Constitutional Court .

Life

Klaus-Dieter von der Weiden began his judicial career after completing his legal training in 1990 at the Koblenz Administrative Court . In 1991 he did his doctorate at the University of Mainz and obtained the title of Doctor of Law . As a research assistant, he was seconded to the Federal Administrative Court from May 1993 to April 1995 . In 1997 he became a judge at the Thuringian Higher Administrative Court in Weimar . He was eventually after a secondment to the Ministry of Justice of Thuringia in the spring of 2002 after there are added , and at the same time as Chief Councilor was appointed. In 2006 he was promoted to ministerial director and was employed in the State Chancellery of the Free State of Thuringia before his appeal to the Federal Administrative Court in 2011 . On August 16, he began his service in the Federal Administrative Court and was assigned to the 2nd Revision Senate, which deals with public service law.

He has also been a member of the Thuringian Constitutional Court since 2015 . After the President of the Constitutional Court Manfred Aschke retired from office in March 2018, von der Weiden represented the office until Stefan Kaufmann took over in June 2018 .

He is examiner of the second state examination in law in Thuringia.
