Klaus-Frédéric Johannes is a German historian and archivist .

Life

Johannes studied in Heidelberg and works mainly on late medieval history, above all on conciliarism , political theory history, church and legal history. Johannes works in the archive of the Landau-Land community .

For the Historical Association of the Palatinate , Johannes has published the online review section of the communications of the Historical Association of the Palatinate since it was founded in 2013. He is a board member of the district group of the historical association Neustadt (publications / editing) and in the committee of the historical association of the Palatinate.

Until 2016 he was a member of the advisory board of the Foundation for the Promotion of Palatinate Historical Research.

Memberships

Johannes is a member of the Görres Society, the Historical Society of the Palatinate, the International Society for Theological Medieval Studies and the MIRA network.
