Klaus-P. Weigand

Klaus-Peter Weigand (* 1959 in Hanau ) is a German author of children's stories.

Life

After studying German, philosophy and theater studies at the University of Munich, he began working as a freelance writer for Tele 5 's children's program in 1990 . He developed the "Bino" and "Vampy" TV characters for the children's program telecast Bim Bam Bino with, and now writes books, radio plays and screenplays for children.

Since 1995, the focus of his work has been on radio plays and scripts for Benjamin Blümchen , Bibi Blocksberg and Bibi and Tina . Initially at the side of Ulli Herzog , who died in 2003, Weigand has so far written around 80 radio plays and scripts for these series. Weigand lives in Munich and temporarily in Portugal.
