Klaus-Peter Kaschke

Klaus-Peter Kaschke (born February 20, 1961 in Erfurt ) is a German journalist and press photographer .

Life

From March 1990 to October 3, 1990 he was the personal assistant to the Volkskammer member Paul Latussek of the DSU (later Vice President of the Association of Expellees ) and from October 3, 1990 to December 31, 1990, his employee in the German Bundestag .

In 1990 Kaschke was a member of the Political-Advisory Committee for Education in the State of Thuringia in the field of media policy. From 1992 until his resignation and simultaneous resignation in 1993, he was the last federal press spokesman for the DSU before it separated from the Bavarian CSU . In the mid-1990s, Klaus-Peter Kaschke acted as chairman of the Thuringia Friends of the WWF .

Kaschke completed a distance learning journalism course at the Faculty of "Journalists' Training" (JWB) of the Free University of Berlin , which he completed with the academic degree "Licentiatus rerum publicarum" (Lic. Rer. Publ.). He worked in Thuringia (primarily in Eisenach ) and Berlin-Neukölln as a journalist and press photographer and regularly as a lecturer .

From November 1, 2016, Klaus-Peter Kaschke was political advisor for the AfD town hall faction in Wiesbaden. He was released early two weeks later because of his racist and populist comments on his Facebook account.

In October 2017 it became known that Kaschke was working as a press officer for the AfD parliamentary group in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .
