Klaus Buchleitner

Klaus Buchleitner (born January 21, 1964 ) is an Austrian manager and has been General Director of Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien since 2012, succeeding Erwin Hameseder and Raiffeisen-Holding NÖ-Wien , where he succeeded Christian Konrad .

Life

Buchleitner was born as the son of a farmer from Franzensdorf in Lower Austria . After studying law at the University of Vienna and completing the MBA program at Insead , Fontainebleau, Buchleitner worked for Girozentrale . He moved to Raiffeisen Ware Austria in 1995 , first as Head of Finance and Controlling, then as Chief Financial Officer, and was CEO from 2002 to 2012. From 2003 to 2012 Buchleitner was a member of the Board of Management of BayWa AG , Munich. In 2012 he was appointed General Director of Raiffeisenlandesbank .

Buchleitner is active on management boards, supervisory boards and boards of directors, including at Agrana Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft (2nd deputy chairman), BayWa AG (deputy chairman), Leipnik-Lundenburger Invest Beteiligungs Aktiengesellschaft (AR), NÖM AG (AR-Chairman) and Raiffeisen Bank International (AR).
