Klaus Fritzsche (born June 4, 1946 in Hützel , Soltau district ) is a German mathematician .

Life

Fritzsche grew up in Bobingen and went to secondary school in Augsburg . From 1965 he studied mathematics at the University of Göttingen with a diploma in 1972 (some properties of flat holomorphic images). He then worked as an assistant and received his doctorate from Hans Grauert in Göttingen in 1975 (A criterion for the q-convexity of residual sets in compact complex manifolds). As a post-doctoral student he was in Bonn (SFB Mathematics) and completed his habilitation in 1981 in Göttingen (vector bundle on quadrics). 1981 to 1984 he was an organizational programmer at Rhodia AG in Freiburg. In 1984 he became a professor in Wuppertal. In 2011 he retired.

He dealt in particular with the coherence of coherent analytical sheaves, differentiable structures on complex spaces, differential geometry of quasi-projective manifolds with q-convexity and q-completeness.
