Klaus Gärditz
Klaus Ferdinand Gärditz (* 1975 in Trostberg , Upper Bavaria ) is a German legal scholar .
Life
After graduating from high school in Wasserburg am Inn in 1994 , Gärditz first studied pharmacy for one semester at the University of Greifswald before starting to study law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . After completing his studies and obtaining his doctorate in 2002 under Hans-Ullrich Paeffgen, initially briefly as an administrative judge in Rhineland-Palatinate, then from 2002 to 2004 as a lawyer in the Boesen law firm in Bonn. In 2009 he got a job as a professor at the University of Bonn , after completing his habilitation under Wolfgang Kahl in the same year .
Since July 2014 he has been a deputy member of the Constitutional Court for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and since March 2015 he has been a part-time judge at the Higher Administrative Court for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (8th Senate). In 2020 he was accepted into the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts (class for humanities).
Gärditz is married and has two children.
