Klaus Harms (clergyman)

Klaus Harms (born February 20, 1906 , † May 6, 1972 ) was a German Protestant clergyman.

Career

After studying theology and obtaining a doctorate in Greifswald and Tübingen, Harms was a pastor in Gülzow from 1931 to 1945 and a member of the Confessing Church during the Nazi era . After the end of the war, he worked as a refugee pastor in Rotenburg in 1946/47, then from 1947 to 1971 as a pastor in the reformed community of Detmold- West. From 1962 to 1967 he was superintendent .

In addition, he was chairman of the Association of Evangelical Pastors' Associations in Germany . His estate is in the Evangelical Central Archive in Berlin .
