Klaus Herdepe
Klaus Herdepe (born May 20, 1965 in Solingen ) is a German historian , author and editor of several historical works.
Herdepe was born in the Bergisch city of Solingen and grew up there for the first years of his life before moving to Wuppertal . He completed his studies in history , art history and political science at the Universities of Cologne and Dortmund in 1998 with his dissertation The Prussian Constitutional Question 1848 , the revised version of which was published as a book in 2002.
Herpede was the secretary of the Bergisches Geschichtsverein , the largest German regional history association, until May 2011 , and was temporarily the editor of the Bergisches Geschichtsverein magazine .
