Klaus Klinckhamer (born May 20, 1944 in Neuratjensdorf ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

He has been chairman of the Environment and Agriculture Committee of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament since 2005 .

Life and work

After secondary school , Klinckhamer completed an agricultural apprenticeship. He also attended an agricultural engineering school, which he finished in 1966 as an agricultural engineer. Klinckhamer works as a self-employed farmer .

Klaus Klinckhamer is married and has five children.

Klinckhamer was a member of the district council of the Ostholstein district from 1986 to 1996 .

From 2000 to 2012 he was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein and has been chairman of the environmental and agricultural committee here since 2005. Klinckhamer is also the specialist spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group for the areas of fishing and rural areas.

Klaus Klinckhamer entered the state parliament in 2000 via the state list and in 2005 as a directly elected member of the Oldenburg constituency . In the state elections in 2005 he received 48.7 percent of the first votes . In the early state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2009 , he was re-elected with 39.6 percent of the first votes.

Public offices

Klinckhamer was mayor of the community of Gremersdorf from 1974 to 2012 . From 1986 to 1998 and again from 2003 to 2013 he was head of the Oldenburg-Land office . From 1998 to 2003 he was deputy head of office here.
