Klaus Kopka

Klaus Kopka (born September 28, 1939 in Sagan ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Kopka trained as a paralegal in a law firm and was a managing director by profession, first in the CSU district constituency of Hof , then in the Bundestag constituency of Hof .

Kopka was a city councilor in Hof and was chairman of the CSU city council group there. From 1971 to 1975 he was deputy state chairman of the Junge Union Bayern and from 1974 to 1989 chairman of the CSU district association Hof-Stadt. He was also the district chairman of the CSU working groups in Upper Franconia for cultural policy and independent cities. From 1974 to 1994 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . He was always directly elected to the constituency Hof-Ost or Hof . He was a member of the board of the CSU state parliamentary group and chairman of the media working group in the CSU state parliamentary group. He was also a member of the Bavarian Broadcasting Council from 1982 to 1985 and, from March 1985, Chairman of the Media Council of the Bavarian State Agency for New Media .
