Klaus Lubbers
Klaus Lubbers (born June 17, 1935 in Bochum ) is a former German Americanist .
Life
After the state examination in 1960 and his doctorate in Mainz in 1961, he was trainee lawyer from 1961 to 1962 . Research assistant from 1962 to 1967. After completing his habilitation in 1967, he was a private lecturer from 1967 to 1970 . From 1970 to 2003 he taught as a professor of English at the University of Mainz . He declined offers: 1968 Graz ; 1973 Stuttgart ; 1978 Salzburg and 1979 Eichstätt .
