Klaus Rehda

Klaus Rehda (born July 10, 1957 in Berlin ) is a German ministerial official and state secretary in Saxony-Anhalt .

biography

Klaus Rehda first completed an apprenticeship as a steelworker before completing a degree in geophysics at the Bergakademie Freiberg .

In the GDR he worked in the field of natural gas production . In 1990 he joined the state administration of Saxony-Anhalt, initially in the district administration, then from 1991 to 1995 as head of department in the Dessau regional council , then until 2008 in the state environment ministry. From 2008 to 2016 he headed the State Environment Agency.

Rehda has been a member of Alliance 90 / The Greens since 1990. Since 2015 he has been a member of the Möckern City Council. In the Cabinet Haseloff II , he has been State Secretary of the Ministry for the Environment, Agriculture and Energy since 2016.
