Klaus Scherhorn

Klaus Scherhorn (born June 30, 1927 in Hameln ; † March 31, 2018 in Norden , East Frisia) was a German entrepreneur .

Life

After studying economics , Klaus Scherhorn was director of Doornkaat AG in Norden from 1973 to 1985 . In addition to his work for the company, he took on various functions in association work:

From 1978 to 1987 he was Vice President of the German Chamber of Commerce in Austria and from 1986 to 1996 Chairman of the Federal Association of BKK . He was appointed to the Advisory Board of the Gerling Group from 1980 to 1994.

In his private life, Klaus Scherhorn was active as president of the Norderney Golf Club from mid-1992 to mid-2007, of which he became honorary president. He was also a member of the Lions Club and 1973 founding president of the LC North-North Sea . From 1974 he was an honorary judge at the Lower Saxony Finance Court in Hanover .

Klaus Scherhorn has two children with his wife Magrit.
