Klaus Wanger

Klaus Wanger (born February 24, 1941 in Schaan ) is a Liechtenstein politician and was President of the Liechtenstein Parliament from 2001 to 2008 .

biography

Wanger had been a member of the state parliament for the progressive citizens' party since 1993 . In 2001 he became president of the state parliament. He was head of the delegation of the Parliamentary Commission on Lake Constance and head of the Liechtenstein delegation in the Interparliamentary Union . Within the state parliament, Wanger was chairman of the state parliament office and, since 2003, chairman of the foreign policy commission, a permanent commission of the state parliament. From 2003 to 2005 he was Chairman of the EEA Commission. He did not run for the 2009 elections and thus left the state parliament.

Wanger is married and has two children.
