The Kleine Schinkensee (also: Kleiner Tschinkensee .) Is a lake in Brandenburg through which the Schlaube flows. Together with the Großer Schinkensee it has a surface of approx. 5 ha .

The lake was also known as Kleiner Tschineken See (1758) or Kleine Zschincke (1786). The name is derived from the Lower Sorbian sćina for reed .

There are mainly stocks of eel , perch , pike , carp , tench , catfish and pikeperch . The fishing is permitted under special consideration of the protection provisions of the nature park Schlaubetal.

Others

The forester's lodge Siehdichum is located in the immediate vicinity . On the paved road between Dammendorf and the forester's house Siehdichum, a few meters in front of the forester's house, there is the sign "Kleiner Schinkensee" directly on the bridge. Hiking routes also still distinguish the Small and Large Schinkensee.
