The Little Cheremshan ( Russian Ма́лый Черемша́н; Maly Tscheremschan ) is a right tributary of the Great Cheremshan in Tatarstan and in the Ulyanovsk Oblast ( Russia ).
The Little Cheremshan has its source in Tatarstan, 20 km west of Novoscheschminsk . It flows initially in a westerly direction, later in a southerly direction.
The Little Cheremshan has a length of 192 km. It drains an area of 3,190 km². The river is mainly fed by the snowmelt . The mean discharge 123 km above the mouth is 4.75 m³ / s. At high tide , up to 348 m³ / s flow, while in dry conditions runoffs of 0.06 m³ / s are possible. The river is ice-covered between November and April.
